Normal people have a hard time understanding why gardeners bother, but the passion with gardens surpasses other people ideas and this is exactly why some of us choose to expand the gardening activity even further. We were amazed that we actually were able to grow 96 pounds of wonderful produce for the Community Cupboard. As the following graph indicates, we're improving our production rates each year. I'm very interested in eating healthy foods for the body. We are now approaching our food intake from the Paleo way of eating. Although we would not have objected to a good ground soaking rain, we appreciated the beautiful sunny day which made the tour easy to enjoy. The usual "where in the world is this place... my gps and google are failing me" situations happened. Thanks to all of you who showed your gardens and those of you who took the tour! We'll be posting photos of the gardens and greenhouses soon. Meanwhile, there's one day left for the tour. See you Sunday. Day one was great!
