Jon and his able assistant, Larry, conducted an excellent class with humorous commentary and banter with his sister, Kris. Jon created a batch of his “never the same, but always good” salsa using produce purchased at our local Farmers Market. Most of the 14 people in attendance pitched in doing the chopping and peeling. He demonstrated the water-bath canning technique of food preservation while expressing due respect for the importance of fresh produce and sterile techniques.

Was the salsa tasty? Delicious!
